Wow!

I haven't visited my blog for quite some time. Lots has happened in the Clay Nation and in my world since I last blogged.

Why am I blogging now? I have no clue other than I just haven't blogged and it seems like I left everything hanging here.

I did get to see Clay in December, up close even! It was one of those ticket switch-er-roos grande.

Someone gifted me a ticket!! I was so excited. I live in Waukegan and I got to see Clay's first concert.

Then someone else gifted me another ticket. I called someone from Clayversity to see if she wanted to attend. I had never met her. She could only attend if she could get a ride. She was able to work that out and got on the road through the blizzard to Waukegan.

I couple hours before the concert, another fan who I had never met or even had a conversation with contacted me to offer me second row seats. Two of them! She was from Canada and her flight was canceled. OMG! Second row seats.

So I contacted my friend from CV and offered her the other second row seat. She then gave the 6th row seat to her ride. And we all had a grand time. I have now seen Clay five times (I got to go to Merrillville as ell) and I can hardly wait until the next tour.

I am always amazed at the generosity of Clay fans to perfect strangers.

I am so looking forward to seeing Clay on Kimmel tomorrow (today?). And then again next week on The Morning Show!

I'm not looking forward to the empty calandar after that.

So, an update on Kyle. It looks as though the last time I blogged Kyle had finished his chemo and was awaiting the radiation therapy.

He went through the radiation therapy with no major complications, although it made him sicker than the chemo did.

We thought he was out of the woods and then just a week before he was scheduled to visit me for Christmas, we were told things were not as they seemed.

The last MRI showed the tumor larger again. However, it was a new MRI machine and there is just the possibility that because it was newer, the image was clearer and there was no change, they could just vizualize it better. So... don't worry. Yeah, right.

So, he is scheduled for another MRI today (Valentine's Day, is that not something?). So, we still wait.

Mostly, I think everything will be fine. These kind of brain tumors have a very good success rate for cures, even though the tumors are fairly rare overall.

I've been sick quite a bit as well, in the hospital and such. Just real life stuff I have to deal with. Life happens.

I really look forward to Clay happenings. It is a nice distraction, plus, I just totally love the guy. Such a strange thing. I hope he is happy.

So, I just rambled tonight. It happens.

ETA: Edited for too many middle-of-the-night typos. I slept a total of one hour. It's Clay Day!!!
