I have resisted the urge to start a blog until now. I figured I have nothing to write about that anyone would want to read... but an idea occurred to me late the other night (isn't that when most ideas are born?), so I thought I would try it out and see how it goes.
My idea is to pick one montage each day (or so) and talk about the different elements in it from my POV and explain why I like it. Since montage-making is such a personal thing for those who make them, I am only going to focus on those montages that I have seen and would highly recommend for others to view. Since there are so many montages out there… I figure that I’ve missed tons of really good ones… so if I don’t mention one, then it certainly would not be a slam. And the ones I’ve seen are certainly a product of the boards I visit the most (The Clackhouse and Clayversity).
I can't focus on all the technical stuff that goes into a montage, because people use different programs, and I’m rather techno-challenged. So I’m just going to talk about my perspective on why this or that montage really works. So if anyone reads this, they might be interested in downloading a montage they may not have seen before…. or go back and watch one they haven’t watched for awhile.
