Yes, its been far too long since I posted here...

I thought I would re-start with one of my all time favorite montages...What Would Happen by clayzeedazee.... it ranks right up there with GBB's Wicked Games for creating a mood.

Using a very provocative song by Meredith Brooks about a married woman fantasizing about a "moral, moral man", ahem... clayzee uses a misty black and white photo of the sun/moon and clouds as a metaphor as the storyteller spins into her fantasy... the words: "what would happen if we kissed?"

Since this was made at the end of 2004, images from that year abound... all held together by this idea and the driving beat of the song. She intersperses black and white with color throughout... but the color images seem washed out. It is very interesting stylistically and as a way to create a dreamy, sexy mood.

She uses interestng transitions between images and clips, but they fit the words. For instance, "spinning out of control" or "shattered my illusions."

I have no idea where I first ran across this montage... and sadly, it appears to be the only one made under this name.
