Change is good. Except when it's not.
I just read that subject line in another blog and it really fits me right now. I forgot who wrote it, but thanks!
The last few months since I blogged have had a lot of change and a lot of consistency. The change has been for the good. I wish it were true for the consistency.
Believe it or not, I actually accomplished one of my New Year's resolutions last Friday. Yeah, I know people usually give up on them by January 15th, but I didn't this time. I've been studying for a professional certification and thankfully passed my test. It gave me a fresh perspective on the future and if change happens, it may lead to many great outcomes.
Then we have the day-to-day consistency of no changes. Why do people find change so hard or bad to accept? Maybe there is enough good underneath what they don't like that the need to change seems like a waste of time. Who knows?
I'm ready for some change to keep life exciting! I plan to start running again in the next few weeks. Let's hope my knees feel better from my 3 spring races. I plan to do a few other things too, so let's see if change is good, except when it's not.
