Less than 3 weeks before Louisville concert! I'm excited about the show and also in a bit of a panic preparing to leave on vacation next Saturday. I sure hope I can finish enough work before I leave. The good news is that when I return most of my co-workers will be on vacation so I'll have time to catch up with a short work week!

I ran a race yesterday and set a personal record taking almost a full minute per mile off my previous races. I started out way too hard the first couple miles and then eased up enough that I could breathe without sounding like I would need an inhaler (or an ambulance). The humidity was pretty high yesterday so I'm sure that contributed to the hard breathing.

We've been watching the news a lot today for updates on the Evansville IN tornados. Our friends have relatives in the area and they said it looked like a bomb exploded. I was glad to see all the volunteers helping clean up the mess. I've only seen the aftermath of the tornado's that hit Indy a couple years ago in May and it surprises me that you can still see the tornado path today in the damaged trees.
