Happy Memorial Day But I'm Remembering A Certain Person Read On And Find Out Who He Is :)

Hi, Happy Memorial Day its after 1 A.M. in KY so I guess today is Memorial Day. I hope everybody had a good Memorial Day so far. I had a nice holiday plus I did get out of work Monday supposed to work Monday but they shut down for one night because of Memorial Day.

This Memorial Day is very special to me in my heart because I miss a person who died last year and that person is my grandfather because he was a War World 2 Veteran. I never did ask him much about the war I wasn’t that interested in it but I miss him a lot this Memorial Day because of that plus I miss him all of the time too some days is better than others (I’m doing better than my granny now she miss him like crazy). My granny show me pictures in his uniform a lot too recently. I was watching Nascar race tonight the Coke Cola 600 race (my man Dale Jr. finish 5 not bad at all consider he hit the wall too) and they were showing the troops who was there for tonight race. It made me think of a lot of my grandfather on his fighting that war.

Over the weekend on Sat. me and my mom and dad went to visit his grave (plus I went to see my dad parents graves too we go there about ever year about the only time we go see there graves) haven’t being back in awhile last time I went was about a week after he died this past Sept. and we got some flake flowers to put on his grave and I got to see a foot stone they set on the bottom of his grave (they recently got it done on his grave) told what brigade he was at during WWII too and it was nice to see that. In my heart this year is special to me to know the real meaning behind Memorial Day it’s not having a day off (in which is nice by the way) or having a cookout or traveling to what ever you want to go (not many people are traveling man the gas almost $4.00 a gallon in KY) its about the troops fighting in the past and now and remember the ones we lost either at war or back home and the memories of the war they fought too.

Before I let everybody go my granny today is going to Richmond Cemetery because they are having a big ceremony about the war veterans too and to remember the troops that gave it all too and probably thinking about her husband too. Take care everybody, :)
