One year ago yesterday (August 12, 2005) I received the following email. I read it several times to make sure what I was reading was what I thought I was reading. Yes! I was going to meet Clay in Toronto.

You have been selected as a winner for the Clay Aiken Meet & Greet at Molson Ampitheatre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada !

You will need to confirm via e-mail whether or not you will be participating in the Meet & Greet for Molson Ampitheatre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In order to do so, please send an e-mail to clayaikenfanclubcontests@cliqueinc.com with the following information:

Please take note of the following information regarding the details for participating in the Meet & Greet:

You must be 13 years of age or older to participate in the Meet & Greet. This is the minimum age for joining the fanclub, and therefore, the minimum age permitted for Meet & Greet access. Should a minor above the age of 13 will be taking your place in the Meet & Greet, please include this information in your confirmation email. If you, or your child, is unable to participate in the Meet & Greet event due to this regulation, please contact customersupport@cliqueinc.com, so we may allow another fanclub member the opportunity to meet Clay.

This Meet & Greet is for ONE person only. You will need to present a valid, government issued form of picture I.D. when picking up your Meet & Greet pass. There will be an escort at each Meet & Greet for any winner in need of assistance.

Your pass for the Clay Aiken Meet & Greet will be available for pick up at the venue WILL CALL / BOX OFFICE window one hour before the venue doors/gates open. If there is no venue box office, you should go the the main box office for the fair / festival grounds. You do not have to be there exactly one hour before doors open, however, you should allow yourself enough time to pick up the pass and arrive at the correct location to be escorted to the Meet & Greet.

Please note that the actual Meet & Greet event will take place ONE HOUR and a HALF (1.5 hours) before the JUKE BOX TOUR show begins.

(For example, if the doors open at 4 p.m., your Meet & Greet pass will be available for pickup at 3 p.m., and if the show begins at 8 p.m., your Meet & Greet will take place at 6:30 p.m.) Please contact the relevant venue for exact door and show times.

When you pick up your Meet & Greet pass there will be a note inside the envelope notifying you of where you should meet the person who will organize the group to be escorted back to the proper Meet & Greet area.

Cameras will be allowed at the Meet & Greet ONLY where venue regulations permit. Professional and/or Video Cameras WILL NOT be permitted at the Meet & Greet regardless of venue regulations. Please contact the relevant venue for more information on venue specific regulations.

Clay will be more than willing to autograph one item of memorabilia.

Each Meet & Greet is expected to last between 20 and 40 minutes.
