I have a "not just us" story. Today I was at a large department store in one of the local malls buying lipstick. It was a MAC product which is considered a young and hip company and the salespeople are mostly twenty somethings with multiple piercings and tattoos. When I was signing my credit card bill I put my wallet, which has my M&G picture in it, down on the counter. Young, pierced, tattooed girl said to me "is that Clay Aiken. I just love him. Where did you meet him, did you see him on AI5, etc." She said she had not really seen him since AI2 and thought he looked and sounded amazing on AI5 and couldn't get over the change. I just happened to have The Picture with me--what, am I the only one that has a picture of Clay with their family pictures (so she wouldn't think I was completely strange I said I had printed it out for a friend who wasn't on the Internet). She was blown away and called others over to see it. A lot of OMGs and "that's Clay Aiken" comments.

I told her he had an album coming out and said it was a lot of 80's covers as well as a few new songs. She and others said they love 80's music and would definitely be looking for it on September 19.
