Written about Clay by a Classmate in 1997

I don't know where this came from but I enjoyed reading it today. I think Clay is the same person today in many ways that he was in 1997.

Once in awhile Although they're hard to find We come across a person That's truly one of a kind.

Such is this individual Who in his work takes pride This talented young man Has nothing in the world to hide.

He has a lot to say And says it all the time Regardless of what others think He freely speaks his mind.

He has a special way Of making others laugh Friendly and most helpful Well liked by Leesville staff.

Unlike most male students He never wears a hat. But hanging from his pocket You’’ll find Sylvester the Cat.

Others copy his style It's not the clothes he wears. It's the very unique color Of his copper-colored hair.

And speaking of odd colors It remains to be seen Another kid in class With sneakers fluorescent green.

The accomplishments by this person In the theater and in shows Affirm the gift he has been given And the places he will go.
