I missed Clay's valentine greeting 'cause I was in the hospital. It was nice of him to remember us on such an important day! Actually, Clay went along with me to the hospital. This past fall-winter season I transferred many CD's into cassettes (for my car) and took them with me. One day, as two nurses queried what I was listening to, the reply was "Clay Aiken -- oh I (we) love him !!". The one nurse proceeded to tell me how she had gone to 4 of his concerts and the other adored his voice. At night, when I couldn't sleep, Clay would "lullaby me" and it was like he was right beside me. Often, in the morning when the "Doc" would appear, he gave me a strange look but never asked what I was listening to. I wished he had.
