The house always looks bare after all the Christmas decorations are put away and you wonder how you accumulated so much stuff during the year that has to be put back in place and didn't it just seem like yesterday when you were putting in all up?
But still, it is always exciting to start a new year and wonder what it is going to be bring. Of course we all have are own dreams and aspirations...mainly all those things we never got done in the previous year. Hopefully this year we will finally get that landscaping done that I have been asking Hubby to do for the last 4 years and maybe I'll get a little more organized and finally clean out that hall closet; organize the photos that are in drawers and boxes, not to mention the rolls of film that still need to be developed.
I never make lists or resolutions, because I usually lose them or break them within the first week of the New Year; so this year, I think I will just take each day as it comes, savor the moments both good and bad and enjoy the anticipation.
I wish all of you; my friends; far and near, the happiest of New Year's; health and happiness as we start this new leg of our journey with Clay.
I know we are in for the ride of our lives and we will have many good things to celebrate this year.
Clay, sweetie, take some time and catch your breath and know that we will all be here when it is time for the new CD to pop; we can't wait!
