It was either laugh or cry for my blog today. Most of my blog is full of silliness. That is what I do here. I have shed more than a few tears due to the horrible event that took place on Monday. However, usually I feel laughter is the best medicine. If you are not in the mood for my silliness right now, I totally understand. Maybe I will see you another time. :-)

HERE You Come Again....WOW....I am so impressed with Clay and his Unicef trip (right on the heels of his BAF Gala) and all Clay's good works and the Clay Nation and all those who contribute and volunteer for Unicef, BAF and all worthy charities.!! Clay....AMAZING me in every way..... I could totally relate to Clay's mom worrying (per his Unicef blog) about him going to Afghanistan. I am a mom and I would feel the same.

Ticket Stress and PMS

WARNING!!!!! ALERT!! WARNING!!! Do NOT attempt a Clay Aiken concert pre-sale if you have PMS. These two things do not go well together! Ticket Stress makes PMS worse and PMS makes ticket stress worse. It is a vicious circle! I tried for my first pre-sale (Philly) on Sat. the 14th. This day is much like Friday the 13th only ummmmm...... actually, there is no difference. This pre-sale didn't go that well. I got ok tickets. I know not everyone can be on the first row. I didn't want to be on the first row. I wanted to be on the second row. :) Actually, after all the research and worry I did, I was hoping things would go a little better. At one point, I thought we had totally lost the seats that had popped up for us. I was in tears. (My family already thinks I am too obsessed with Clay and need to be on some type of 12-step program....this didn't help) Anywho, this was a real Mess! Do you hear me, Clay, a MESS!! One of the problems is the OFC is STILL not working well. OK, I have dumped all cookies and cache. There is not one cookie left in our whole house. Dumping these two things did two things....made the site run even slower than it did before, and made me even more frustrated than before. As you may know, there is nothing worse than a frustrated Clay fan. ;-) Yes, I have sent in a ticket. This causes the following to happen, they tell you they are sorry for the problems, and then they ask for more tickets. Is there a prize for the person on Team Clay (or whoever they are) that gets the most tickets? THIS One's Got Me Conflicted....I told them that they were addicted. Oh, did I mention my PMS....

THE only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Back to the pre-sale....isn't this fun? The Philadelphia Ticket Master place (or whatever it is called) also was VERY slow. We called and asked if we could do this by phone. We were told, "Online only!" The people who called a little while later were not told this and the person on the phone said that they could help them.... by phone. Hmmmmm This did not make me happy. Also, right now I don't like the words 4th row or dead center. Please do not tell me. Thank you! :)

It is possible that I am a BAD person. Tell me what you think....I can handle it...hopefully... I need to know because before the pre-sale I sort of ummmm...errrrr... threatened TC that I would tell Clay if I could only get good seats to the Philly concert thru a broker if the OFC was too slow while trying to get tickets. And wouldn't this make interesting Clack.... No kidding...I really did this... Oh, did I mention my PMS.....

I know TC is trying to help with the pre-sale situation, but this is only with Ticketmaster. The venue in Philly used their own type of ticketmaster. Phillymaster or something...not so fun. No, I haven't gone to a broker.........

The ONLY ways to get great seats to a Clay concert:

1. Have really great luck.

2. Win them...see number 1. (we won tickets to Rascal Flatts last month so it would be a miracle to win again.)

3. Pay thru the nose.

And you will ALWAYS AND FOREVER be my favorite singer and one of my favorite people....even if this pre-sale thing is going to put me over the edge....I was already pretty close.....
