CAN'T HELP MYSELF........
05/03/07Dear Clay,
Sugar Pie Honey Bunch....I tried, but I am afraid I am a failure as a fan. I hang my head in shame. I am very sorry, but I just can't do it. I tried to watch Jericho, but I just couldn't get into it and promptly fell sound asleep! Please don't tell Les or Batman. I feel like I have let you down. I do think that maybe.....just maybe you are a little obsessed.... Your last two blogs have been about this show. You expect us to go....what....like a Thousand Days without hearing anything of real import from you. (except for your wonderful Unicef blog of course!) My gosh man....you may need professional help! (I, of course, wouldn't know ANYTHING about this sort of thing) HELLO!! We like to hear about YOU...YOU baby! Anything about YOU and we are happy campers. You know, we get so lonely Without You. I was sick as a dog for about 10 days there, and when you were in NYC, you did not even stop by to say hi to me even though you were roughly 51.4 miles from my house. This probably was a good thing, though, since I was in rather bad shape and was not at my utmost cutest. However, a little gift
would have been nice....a huge bouquet of flowers....the promise of a night out on the town at a 5 star NYC restaurant....you know something along those lines would have been lovely.
I did have a fever of 103.2 degrees totally due to the infection and not because I was thinking about you....Uhhh probably... Anyway, when someone like say you gets obsessed over something like say a TV show, you might forget a few important things like remembering your sick friends. When You Say You Love Us, we think you mean it! :-)
Many highly intelligent women, such as myself, have this obsession. You see Clay, I know a little something about obsession. I have an obsession...well, several actually, but ONE major one and it has nearly taken over life. My family as we speak, is trying to find a 12-step program for this particular obsession. The thing though with obsessions and 12-step programs to help with them is well, you have to admit you have a problem. You know, you stand up in front of people and say, like in my case, My name is ________ ummmm we'll just leave that blank for now, and I am obsessed with a cute singerguy. Wonder what his name could be....Then there is a whole list of things you should do to get over your addiction/obsssion. I wouldn't get very far. I do know I am obsessed....however, I don't see it as any kind of problem. In my case they would probably have steps like:
**Don't listen to his music for hours at a time. (this is pretty much impossible unless medication has me knocked out cold)
**Watch videos of other performers. (there are OTHERS?)
**Get a hobby (this is my hobby)
**Organize your Clack, get rid of doubles (ok this one MAY be doable)
**Find out who you have gotten all those pix from ( I know some, others no idea and am too tired or lazy or both to track everyone down.) I DO have some nice Thank You graphics though.
**Clean your house (ewww I did that already in January)
**Cook a nice meal for your family (I did THAT in February)
**Pay more attention to your children. (I did that just last week...or possibly the week before)
**Pay more attention to your spouse...I am pretty sure that is how I got the children or is that chil'ren in the first place.
**Get pre-sale tickets to his concerts. (if this doesn't totally cure you of your obsession, nothing will and you are hooked for life)
**Read fan fics...ok this will do nothing to stop this particular obsession, but some of them sure are FUN to read. There is one on the message board now.
**Get dressed before noon....(choose any time zone)
Here are some pictures that I found while attempting to organize things here. I don't know where all of them came from, but I do thank you!
Don't know who took this, but have seen it around about 300 times:
Up close and personal:
He looks so serious here and darling....
Young and beautiful:
On Kimmel and don't forget he'll be back May 10th!

Recent TODAY show pic (when he forgot to tell me he was in town)
BTW Clay, I keep forgetting to tell you to hug your doggies for me....ummmm what are their names again....I know they are named after some airport...uhhhhh Dallas and Fort Worth? LOL Guess not...oh yes, must be Raleigh and Durham.
Oh, and don't forget your mom's birthday!
