My Philly Concert Experience:

it was sooo......and oh.....wow......then he.....oh my gosh.....hawt....so very.....hawt..

sang....gahhhhhh.....angel.....oh.......and then we.......it was.....gahhhh......laughed.....

handsome....ahhhhhh wow.....he.....hunkybuns........oh my it was.......I really........oh

and I.......it was just........sooooo amazing and He.......we.......pretty

songs......looked.....so happy........medley.......funny........and I

just.......ohhhhhhh......hawt........good time........he is just........charming.........loved

every minute.......gahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

And that pretty much sums it up. No, if you put all those words together, they don't make sense...exactly, but then I am still in a CLAYFOG, so that is the best I can do. Whoever originally said there are just no words that can fully explain being at a concert, really said it all.

Two things struck me right away as Clay came out on stage...one of them is that he is VERY young....wow!! ....Ahhhh to be young again, not that I am old, and when I do become old, I will never admit it. 28.....I remember being 28....I think... According to my children, I am not a dinosaur, I am before dinosaurs.

The other thing that struck me....you were wondering when I would get around to this weren't you? OK....being struck.....Clay has such an amazing presence.....not overwhelming...ok close sometimes, but mostly oh wow there HE is!!! And boy can he sing!!!!! This is the second time I have seen Clay in concert. It felt like I bought the tickets 3 years ago so, I was VERY excited for this concert! I couldn't keep my eyes off of him, and why would you want to?

Blue, is the ocean in your eyes, Blue as cool September skies, as a lonely waterfall. Red, is the fire in your heart....

It was sooooo hot In Philadelphia that night!! I think I may have sweat off 5 lbs. Hot as in weather, not hawt as in...wow Clay looks hawt in tight jeans! Not that I noticed or anything. I was just looking at his hair and eyes....you know the rule: "from the waist up only!" OK I may have blown that a little...ummm but can you blame me? I mean wowzers....he is cute!! All of him is cute...especially his hair and eyes....where I was mostly looking....

I was watching him through my binoculars (15th row..not first lol) and he was singing and looking right at me!! And then I thought no, you are just imagining it...but then I put the binoculars down and he was still looking at me....ME!!!!!! I couldn't breathe! Then later he looked at me again...oh my gosh!!!!! WOW! I wonder if my heart rate will ever go back to normal. Well, I am seeing Mr. Hunkybuns again on Saturday so, maybe some time after that. I am thinking along around Halloween. Then after that is November and he will start another tour! Gosh, I wonder what my blood pressure is.....400 over 250....can't you explode at those numbers....CLAY AIKEN...it is ALL your fault....

.....WHEN YOUR HEART BEATS NEXT TO MINE....You haven't LIVED until you've been in a nice, quiet museum in a large city, where everyone talks in whispers..."oooh isn't that piece lovely?" and Like A Virgin is going through your mind....and you can't stop it. I wanted to laugh so hard that it hurt. I waited until I got outside. Now everyone in Philly near Ben Franklin Lane and Penn Street or whatever they were called, thinks I am crazy...yes I know....there is already quite a long line.....

Angel, heaven starts here tonight in your arms, wanna drown in your body get lost in your charms. Now that you're here, angel don't go, let's keep the mood nice and slow....

If you are wondering why I have the words to TOUCH along here in my blog, it is not because I want Clay to sing it, although I wouldn't mind..... what I am getting at here is I have never been able to TOUCH Mr. Aiken. I have seen him...let's see....4 times now....the first time, at the Snowflake Lighting, I tried to get an autograph and he was whisked away by his people just then so he waved at me and said hi...which was nice...he looked at me with those eyes of his, which I am rather fond of. Then the next time I saw him was West Point where he didn't do the handshake because Jerome was being mean that night...just kidding (I actually think Jerome is a sweetie!) Clay didn't shake hands at West Point because he met this cute blonde and....ok sorry....it was because he wasn't feeling well. Then there was Mike and Juliet...and Clay was too busy doing "promos" to shake hands. Which brings us to Philly, the city of brotherly love...except at a certain place...these were NOT happy people for some reason, and they wouldn't let Clay shake our hands....and Jerome had it organized so well. Pooh!! So, which is better...getting Clay's autograph or getting a handshake and actually getting to touch him....how about the perfect situation....getting an autograph, and then you just "happen" to touch Clay in the process...that would probably have to be the ultimate. Now, how would you go about touching his hair...well, maybe I'll save that for another blog......
