OH MY GOSH!!!! OH MY GOSH!!!!! OH MY GOSH!!!!!!! I'm happier than a kitten chasing a leaky cow. I just don't know where to start! So much to say, so little time, but you know me and my big mouth, I guess here it would be busy fingers, I will manage somehow! :) First of all, CLAY, you make me soooo happy and proud to be a fan!!! I must say how delighted I am for the wonderful gala that just took place in Raleigh and for all the NAGs, for all the donations made and all the hard work. I am very impressed! I was able to donate to BAF, but I wish I would have been able to bid on something at the auction. (No I was not there :-( and I know about the online auction....still too rich for my blood) If they would have accepted it, I would have given my right arm for some of the things auctioned off. I REALLY wanted one of the rings! And how clever was it to have that copy of Clay's first post on the MB framed for the auction? I also could have gone for the wango tango shirt. Does the cute guy come with this ring:

GAHHHHH! Clay, you are just going to kill me if you get any more handsome.... btw, LOVE the beard! I know I am Always and Forever going on about how cute Clay is and he really is, but the most important thing about him is what is on the inside. What a wonderful and amazingly kind and generous person he is! I have known few people in my life who are truly as good and decent as Clay is. Oh, and he sings nicely also......

More OH MY GOSH! Last Tuesday night my DH and I saw Rascal Flatts at the Hard Rock in NYC! All I can say is WOW and WOW again!! It was just amazing! I clapped so hard that I actually bruised the inside of my left palm a little. And we were very close! Hence the name of my blog (from their song) I was close, but not close enough to quite touch them. The first time I saw Clay, it was at the Unicef Snowflake Lighting and we were so close much of the time, I could have grabbed Clay and hugged him.

I did not do this because, (1) I know Clay does not liked to be grabbed at suddenly without warning.....even if the woman doing so is as extremely attractive as myself. And (2) my hubby would have had a complete cow..... Now that probably wouldn't be such a pretty site.... right there in New York City on 5th Avenue in front of Tiffany's.

Now here is the PERFECT picture. Someone, I won't mention her name....you know who you are.... I'll just call her Miss Colorado LOL beat me to this and put it on her site before I got the chance. I sent this to her because I know she loves Clay and also Rascal Flatts like me!! I found this picture on one of RFs sites right after we got home. It was taken at the AMAs. I was like well, OH MY GOSH! Clay AND Rascal Flatts together. What more could a girl ask for!?! Can't think of a thing......

Speaking of Rascal Flatts and being so close....when they were singing, they would look at you. Joe Don, who is sometimes referred to as "the cute one" for some reason..... ;-) looked right at ME a few times. OH MY GOSH!!!!! When we saw Clay at West Point, it was wonderful, but we were around 20 rows back. I know I have mentioned this oh maybe 6,000 times, but if I get good seats to the Philly concert I am going to this summer, I will be soooo happy! If Clay looks at me while singing well, I will just be toast. Have you noticed that women say that a lot. If or when Clay does a certain thing, it turns them to toast. Or, sometimes they say he turns them to jelly. Well, at least those two things go well together....

UPDATE 4/03/07 I thought I would update since I had a little more to say (noooo not me LOL) and I was soooo excited when I came online last night and was checking around the site and realized Clay had blogged AGAIN....two blogs just a couple of days apart. WOW! What more could you ask for? His name was next to mine on the New Blogs List. ClayAiken right next to me.....ahhhhh so wonderful! I saw his name come on the list just after I signed on. He must have been online the same time as me!!!!!!! Last Saturday when Clay blogged, I was taking a nap. What was I thinking? Evidently, I was thinking I was tired. :) The only thing that bothers me is maybe he has now actually read my blog. Hmmmmm Should I be worried? Well, I haven't been banned from here YET so, I guess I am OK... for now.... WHEW!

I forgot to mention yesterday that I loved those podcasts on ITunes! Clay, why didn't you tell us about them? I loved listening to them. If you haven't had the chance, go listen or if you can't get ITunes, I think someone has downloaded them somewhere along the way here. When I think a movie I have seen or a book I have read is especially good it is usually, at least in part, because they make me both laugh and cry. That is what these podcasts did for me. I LOVE listening to Clay even if he isn't singing....although I do listen to him sing every single day. Also, I have to laugh when I hear him talk. Clay and I are alike in some ways. This is me: I talk A LOT, talk fast, can't talk without using my hands and can be very sarcastic. Also, I think I am always right....actually, I am always right! Sound like anyone you know? ;-)

I can't sing. I know a lot of Clay's fans have the dream of signing with him on stage...and a few have gotten the chance. That would be so wonderful however, my singing would hurt Clay's ears and everyone's in the audience! I can read music though. I play the piano some. I am better than just playing chop sticks, but not nearly as good as Jesse or David Foster so, I guess my playing is like a glorified chop sticks kind of a thing.....sad really.
