Whatcha doin' tonight.....
04/27/07HI EVERYONE!! ...have you missed me? I thought so. I hope you haven't been too terribly sad.
I haven't been feeling well for the last week. I will spare you the details, but I have a nasty kidney infection and had a fever of 103 degrees. I never get fevers so, this was major for me. Ick!!! I am on the mend though and my fever is gone. Anywho, I have a lot of random thoughts kind of bumping around in my head. I don't know what this means, but the song Invisible has been going through my head the whole time I have been sick....This is going to be a goofy blog......something new and different, right? ROFLMAO....and oh how I wish I could some days...oh how I wish I could...
Clay shaved his beard....aghhhhhh!!!!! I begged him not to. He listens just like my children....which is to say NOT AT ALL!! He is still cute.......when he is 99....he'll be cute. I wonder if he'll still color his hair then....It is too bad Clay and Diane couldn't work out going to dinner in Afghanistan.... I am sure they will work something out sometime, but ......ummmmm honestly, it doesn't make me sad....I may not be a good person. I mentioned this in my last blog...but anyway, if Clay goes out to dinner with an older woman, I think it should be me! Me baby....how does he say it..baybe? Well, you know what I mean. BTW Clay, I am younger than Diane :-) And hey people did you notice that Clay had on a striped shirt on his ET interview? They're back!!!!!
I can't remember who I uhhh swiped this picture from. Sorry if I wasn't supposed to. Tell Clay....tell him that I have been very bad....
And another thing, has Clay ever been interviewed by a female who isn't absolutely adorable? How does he manage this?
This is from the Unicef Snowflake Lighting....I think her name is Toni and she works for NY1 or some station like that. Look at the look on her face...She LOVED interviewing him and who wouldn't? Gahhhhhhhhh What a flirt. I am talking about Clay now...

If I interviewed him, I would just get all tongue tied....uhhhhh and wouldn't be able to think of anything intelligent to say. Kind of like right now. If I was close enough to talk to Clay, I could possibly be rendered speechless....this is something some people have hoped for for YEARS now! What on earth could I ask him that hasn't been asked a thousand times already. Hmmmmmmm OK Clay, what IS your favorite color....is your shoe size really 13? What is your natural hair color? What do you think of women who get all fangirly when they are next to you and their brains turn into bananas ...... regular ones...not the dancing ones on your fanclub message board?
ARE you all sitting down? :) OK now I have something cool to tell you. I think it is alright for me to do this. I am not positive, but I do have this on pretty good authority....not totally sure, but I do believe that it is entirely possible that in the last 15-20 minutes while I have been starting to get my blog together and typing this that Clay has not changed the color or style of his hair. Like I said, I am NOT positive, but think this might actually be the case. Honestly, I can't keep up with this man. I totally missed when he was on Today. My ESPN errrr ummmm....ESP must be off or something...Thank heavens for those who always capture appearances of Clay we may miss so that we don't feel left out! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
I know I have been very sick and all, but I thought AI Gives Back was an odd show. YMMV...I liked much of the music. I always like Rascal Flatts....they are my favorite country group. Don't worry, Clay, you are my favorite singer...you always will be. Anyway, back to weird AI. I missed the first part of Annie Lennox and didn't recognize her for several seconds. I didn't even realize what she was singing there for awhile either. I thought the show was weird in parts like they were trying to have their result show in the middle of everything. What was up with that? And how they decided they wouldn't send anyone home that night was good, but I think poor Jordin thought she was a goner. I thought it was mean....she way crying. Bad, bad stuff there! I still think Simon is a total twit.
So, after nearly killing myself getting pre-sale tickets to Philly which was the closest concert to me...Now I find out Clay is coming to my home state of NJ.....oh goodie....another pre-sale is Monday and it is another venue that does not use ticketmaster and has their own ticket thingie place. More fun!!! I can either do another pre-sale on Monday or maybe have root canal with no anesthesia by a butcher with rusty instruments....decisions decisions.....
Close to you...this is the first time I ever saw Clay in person. It is probably as close as I'll ever get:
I like his hair here...I may be obsessed...what do ya think?
Cute:
BTW Clay, Congrats on receiving the Children's Advocacy Award from the National Center for Learning Disabilities!! You are truly a wonder in many ways....
Thanks to all wonderful photographers and for all the nice comments you leave here. :-)
