In Search of..The Very Best of Clay Aiken Cd. Current mood: happy Category: Music On March 31st The Very best of Clay Aiken CD dropped. It was my birthday and I decided I would go buy it. After work that day I headed to the local Target Store,since I read on someones blog somewhere it was suppose to be there. After looking through the cd section for a few minutes and finding nothing of Clay Aiken,except for a music pass for On my way here, I decided to track down the sales person. I told him I know the internet doesn't alway have everything right and told him what I wanted and that I knew it was available on Amazon.com but I prefer not to buy from there.

Amazon is a good company,however I have "Issues" with them. They have been known to contract with privately owned state prisons and use inmate labor as sales people. Here is my issue. I don't want known felons to have access to my personal information.

The clerk at target looked up the CD on Amazon. Thats when I realized the actual title is PLAYLIST>The very best of Clay Aiken. He then called a store manager to find out if they were carying it. This was after he pointed out that they had an entire front display dedicated to Prince and had not sold a single CD off of it. He then comfirmed that they were not carrying the Clay Aiken CD and suggested I go to Best Buy or In a hushed voice Walmart,their local competition I decided to wait until my next day off April 2 and Check online and call the other places. April 2,I called Walmart. They don't have it. I tried calling Best Buy. It was to early in the morning. They don't open until 10.00a.m. I checked online at Best Buy.com, It said That Playlist>The Very best of Clay Aiken was on Backorder. That afternoon I had to take my friend to a Dr. Appt. in Greenville,SC. On the way back I told her, lets stop buy Best Buy since we"re already in Greenville and I want to see if they have this CD. To My wonderful surprise it was there! along with 3 more copies. I purchased it and we listened to it in her car on the way home! Today I put it in the computer to check out the other features. I got to say I think this is the most awesome CD ever!

Not Every songs my personal favorite but most are.I love the fact that Bridge Over troubled Waters is on it.! Although Solitare,the Way, and A Thousand Days ,are not my favorites, I enjoy listening to Clays beautiful Voice. Internet problem Two weeks ago I had plans to come here and send wonderful comments back to everyone on the white dove blog. My internet service was down. Instead of sending comments to everyone I couldn't even get online. Instead I spent 2 hours that Thusday morning on the phone with the Cable company trying to get my service back. The first person I called had a foreign accent and was a little hard to understand. He said I had to reset my IP address,So he guided me step by step and reset everything.Then he told me to shut down my computer and restart it,then wait 5 minutes and everything would be fine. I tried again 1/2 hr later. Still no service. I called the cable company back. This time I got a girl, again, with a foreign accent. This time she was able to spell out words for me so I could understand. We went through and reset the IP address and restarted the computer again. I did this 3 times while on the phone with her and still kept getting an error message saying the problem was with my server. During the 3rd resetting,We got disconnected! ARG! I called the cable company back for the 3rd time! This time I got a guy with American Speech. He was finally able to tell be that Service was down in my area. They were working on it and should have it back up in about 2 hrs. I wish they had told me that the first time I called!

freedomoneradio.org Several months ago my Col. became an online DJ. He goes by DJ Darc,short for Darcseide and pronounced darkside.(He's an avid Horror movie fan) and calls his radio show Tunes from the Darcseide. Sorry he's not playing our clay. Its a classic rock show Wed. from 8-11p.m. I have heard him play Bridge Over Troubled Waters on there though. Don't know if its Simon and Garfunkel, Elvis or even Clays version. I think I would have recognized the choir on Clays though. The morning of my internet problems I told Col. about my 2 hrs on the phone with the cable company. He told me the service went out during his radio show and he didn't get to finish the show that Wed. night. If you like Classice Rock or Country Music, he does country from 3 or 4pm to 6pm on Saturdays, "Check him out" .He also occaisonally will interview his own band live on the computer. Its usually very entertaining. There is a chat room associated with the site,so they got many questions. Since this is the world wide web. They heard from all over. A guy in Ireland recorded the interview, cleaned up the audio and sent it back to him. He seems to have developed a following in Ireland. Also anybody that he knows is listening he'll give a shout out to.

My Busy life These past 2 weeks have been really busy. It was once again time for my yearly training classes for my job at the Prison. My schedule went like this Sat. April 4 worked 12 hrs. Had Sun. April 5 off. At work for training classes Monday through Thursday 8-4:30 followed by 12 hr. shifts Fri,Sat,Sun,Mon,by day 8 yesterday I was totally exhausted. Today is my first day off,and first opportunity to update this blog.Whew!
