Saturday night I went to see legally blonde the musical here locally at the peace center. I took Nikki with me. It was sort of a combined birthday present. She really wanted to see it,but her birthday isn't until next month. My b-day is tomorrow,so I made it a early present for both of us.lol!

We were in the 4th row and really enjoyed the show!. I got really emotional during a scence where Elle and Enid were talking about the backgrounds they came from. I don't know why,I usually don't get like that. Maybe the scene just touched me.

Elle Woods was played by Becky Gulsvig and Enid was Gretchen Burghart according to the playbill. After the emotional scene the play proceeded to a funny scene in the courtroom which really uplifted my spirits. We had a wonderful time watching all the acting,dancing and singing.

At the end of the show ,of course they were hocking items for Broadway Cares. One thing that was available was getting your picture taken with the UPS man for 10.00. I joked with Nikki that her mom ,my friend JK should have come,she would have got ten the picture. After all she took a picture with the naked cowboy when we were in NY! lol!

I opted to buy the playbill signed by the entire cast for 10.00. Nikki had fun on the way home trying to decipher the signatures on it.
