Yesterday was veterans day. Today is the official holidy celebration for many. What is a veteran? The webster dictionary defines veteran as:a former member of the armed forces or long time employee. Veterans day is defined as:November ll,Us holiday honoring war veterans. If you know or are a veteran please remember them.

My nephew Brandon, is now back from Iraq. Him and his brothers were here visiting this weekend. He seemed tired all the time. I think he needs a long rest. He told me he thinks He will be back in the U.S. a year now. He's currently stationed in Hawaii,but thinks he may soon be going to Texas.He is in the Army.

I recently became a member of the Ladys Aux. of the VFW.It happened back in Aug. I was looking for a place to hold a wedding reception,that was affordable,available and had A/C. When I couldnt find a place. My mother suggested I contact my brother who is an active member of the Amvets and the VFW. He lives in Ohio,but helped me to contact the VFW posts in this area. After some searching I found one nearby. They recommended me to another post a little further away,where after I told them my brother was a member they asked me for his paper work and immediately recruited me to become an aux. member to help with Childrens Charities.

Please take time to remember your veterans.

On to other things. I watched AI rewind yesterday! It made me feel really good. They showed many of Clays audition performances I hadnt seen before,Plus the interview incert,they are doing with several former contestants.I loved It!

Now Im reading this board and catching up on all the info on the ice skating show! Wow!

Update on my car. The Collision guy called and said work was ahead of schedule! I may get it back before Thanksgiving! If I do, I plan to go to Oh, to visit my family. Have a great day! Reneti
