Hello wonderful people, I wasn't going to blog until next week,then a wonderful thing happened! Yesterday I was at work at my parttime job,when I saw a flicker of white out the window. At first I thought It was the flash of a tail of a dog,so I went to the door to see if one of the neighbors dogs was lose and came to the store. To my surprise it wasn't a dog at all,but a beautiflul White Dove.

A customer showed up and said,Did you see that white pigeon out there? I told him I did and that I had named it white dove. I was waiting on my cell phone to charge up so I could,hopefully take its picture. The customer took one with his.

When a second customer pulled up he shut the door on his truck and it startled the bird and him too. The bird started to take flight toward the gas pumps,then settled back down and pecked its way across the parking lot to where it had been sitting between the shoe cleaner and urn at the front door.

One customer told me that he thought the bird wasn't real until it moved.

I was having fun with this bird all morning. I told the customers that was my pet dove and I named it "white dove".

A lady that walks to the store to buy the newspaper every Sunday,seen it sitting outside and motioned for me to come to the front door. I told her I knew it was there and I had just finished taking pictures of it with my cell phone when she got to the store.

It was a liilte chilly that morning,so whenever a vehicle would show up at the store the bird would walk under it. I guess to stay warm. The Lady was worried someone might run over it and asked me if I was going to take it home. I told her I would wait and see what the bird was going to do,since one male customer told me he thought it might be someones pet or lived in a barn near by. It was 8am and I dont' get off work until 2 from the store. Around 9:00AM the sun came out and the Dove went on its way. First to the grass on the side of the store then to the house across the street. Thats the last I saw of it.

I sent this last picture to everyone in my cell phone address book yesterday. I immediately started getting text messages and phone calls back on it. I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did!
