Photoshop Watermark tip to follow but I had to share this experience from yesterday.

My 13 year old son and I were at Wendy's having lunch and talking about various computer matters. We were nearly finished when I heard the beginning strains of a familiar melody.

"When the world wasn't upside down..."

Sam said, " Oh great, now we have to stay three minutes longer."

"Shhhh! Don't talk now." I said. (Can anyone do eyerolls better than a 13 year old male?)

As soon as the song ended, I looked at him and asked how he had known that was a Clay song. Had he just heard me play it that much? snort

Another eyeroll, then he said, "Yeah, that and the way your pupils enlarged to cover your irises." I thought that was very insightful. I am sure it even has some deep meaning but I don't know what that would be.

So my hint would be if a Clay song comes on the radio and you are around skeptics, squint.

Now how to make your watermark for your gorgeous pictures that you are going to take at the concerts this summer.

Open a New Image 300 x 300 pixels on a white background. Select black as the foreground color. Use the type tool to enter the text of your watermark. Choose Filter>Stylize>Emboss to add an embossed look to your text. Default settings are probably fine, but you can always tweak them to increase the strength of the watermark. (The Emboss filter will probably warn you that it needs to rasterize the type layer. Let it do this.) Lower the opacity of the watermark layer, to taste.

Thanks to everyone for reading and for the comments.
