My Favorite Smoothies

Hi All! Well, don't know about where you live, but it is still FREEZING here in the Chicago area. But, I was in Florida last week enjoying some nice warm weather, and it inspired me to share some of my favorite smoothies with you.

I drink a smoothie almost every morning as part of my breakfast. I have one of those "Magic Bullet" machines that started as an infomercial, and I love it!

Here are some of my lowfat favorites. Each one is 4-5 Weight Watchers points.

Pine-Orange-Banana

Combine 1 cup orange juice, 1/2 banana and 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks in blender and pulse until smooth. This is 5 WW points.

Mixed Berry

Combine 1 cup skim milk, 1 container of Dannon Lite N' Fit yogurt in either rasperry, blackberry, or blueberry, and 1/2 cup mixed frozen berries. Blend until smooth. 4 WW points

Strawberry Banana

Combine 1 cup skim milk, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup frozen strawberries and 1 container of Dannon Lite N' Fit Strawberry Banana yogurt and blend until smooth. 5 WW points.

Oh, by the way, my niece has lost 11.5 pounds since we started WW 3 weeks ago and I've lost 2. I have to remind myself I only need to lose 15 so my loss will be slower, but she keeps me motivated because if I'm cooking for her - I'm cooking for me!
