It gives very subtle hints when that time is near,

Sneaking in very quietly and oh so slow.

It could be the windy cold nights, the dimly lit days,

Or when the butterflies put on thier show.

The spiders and the bees all search for a home,

All the mice try to invade our space.

They're aware of the cold chills that lie ahead,

Each has a purpose to finds it's own place.

It's a restless time for man and animal alike,

It's a time to reflect, and a time to prepare.

It's a time of awe and a time to dream,

for the beauty of the season is wonderful and rare.
