Hey gang!

I hope everyone had a great time seeing our man Clay performing at the concerts. I love reading all of the recaps and the GREAT reviews we've been seeing in the news about his tour. It seems like FINALLY, some are "getting" Clay and that it is COOL to like Mr. "Uncool" himself. ;)

Not too much happening lately, but I'm gearing up for a trip to Las Vegas 9/13 - 9/16 with my Mother and her fiancee. They aren't big travelers, nor are they very good at traveling to places outside of their comfort zone. I'm designated tour guide, even though I've only been out there once before in 2001. They'll love it and there's just so much to see and do. I'm hoping that the Philadelphia airport problems won't jinx us that day. We do have a direct flight to Las Vegas but it's through US Air...

I wish Clay would be able to change the date of the taping of the Christmas skating show....(hint, HINT). LOL!

I also have a bridal shower coming up, two weddings in October, one of them is for Marty's oldest son. I have tons of doctor's appointments that I need to schedule soon (checkups, etc.), Labor Day is right around the corner and before you know it, it'll be the holidays and then the CHRISTMAS TOUR.

PLEASE COME TO PHILADELPHIA AGAIN CLAY!!

I REALLY love my time off at home where I putter around with no stress of feeling like something has to get done. I do enjoy going out with friends and visiting family, but it seems like there's nothing going on or everything is going on at once.

Harrah's casino owns the casino I work at, The Showboat. There are two other properties that they own in Atlantic City, Bally's and Caesar's. They're going to have an old-fashioned casino Olympics for the four properties in front of Bally's on September 11. They are having waiter/waitress races, bell cart races, sprints, 5k run, egg toss, tug of war, etc. I signed up for the tug of war. They're actually shuttling the employees from Harrah's to Showboat during the course of the day so they can take time out during the day to participate. This should be a lot of fun. If I had more vacation time, I would've taken the whole day off to be there.
