I've made a conscious decision to not allow the uncertainty and the negativity get me down. No, I'm not dancing for joy over the latest information shared in the blog, but I haven't gone into mourning either. I'm not making assumptions; I can't because there has been no definitive information shared between the fans and the people who we've been told to listen to for O-PHISH-AL news of Clay's professional life. I've yet to see anything posted on the news section of the OFC, so, I'm not going to assume anything at this point regarding a certain CD that may or may not drop in May, that may or may not be comprised of love songs that are one or more ballads, that are syrupy ballads, that are old-fashioned syrupy cover ballads, that are old-fashioned syrupy cover ballads that have been arranged in a more modern, up-tempo manner, that are old-fashioned syrupy cover ballads that have been arranged in a more jazzy manner, that are old-fashioned syrupy cover ballads that have been arranged in a more bluesy manner, that are original songs, that are original songs that resemble old-fashioned syrupy cover ballads, that are a mixture of original songs that resemble old-fashioned syrupy cover ballads and covers, that are covers that have nothing to do with love, that are originals that have nothing to do with love, that are a combination of any of the above, or....

...that are none of the above. See? It's clear as mud, isn't it?

I just don't know, because I haven't been privy to any specific information yet. And, at this time, I do not believe anyone in the fandom has been privy to such information. Is it possible some posters have made some good guesses? Sure. But I'm not going to have my attitude depend upon other's abililties to make some good guesses in order to theorize and hypothesize and come up with scenarios that may or may not be true. I'm not saying anyone is incorrect; I am saying that until it comes from official sources I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. I'm getting a headache trying to keep track of what people are saying that Clay wants me to feel and think and do...

Bull dung.

When Clay says it, then I'll consider feeling and thinking and doing... But for now, I'll just continue to try and be patient. And wait. Again. For some O-PHISH-AL information.
