I'm sitting here, on my last day of vacation before returning to the trenches, and I can't help thinking that as quickly as all of this sh-stuff has gone down (and really, kids, in the grand timeline of life, it has been a short amount of time) that's how quickly it's going to dissipate like dust in the wind. Who wants to bet against me that as soon as 1) a CD drop date is posted, 2) some song snippets hit the internet, 3) the man finally blogs, 4) any or all of the above, this crap will be buried so quickly that a certain group of mercenaries won't know what hit them?

I have to smile at that thought; I just do.
