What I take from that first quote...

01/15/07

“I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.”

In relationship to you, Clay......

“I wanted a perfect ending"

So, did I.......until I realized, I don't want an ending......just a never-ending ride - as long as I can... with you. g

"Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme"

But I say, some of the most beautiful and moving poems don't...so the rhyming rule just doesn't matter like we thought it would. Just enjoy.

"and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle and end"

Let's just concentrate on the RIDE....the rest becomes clear later.

"Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.”

Knowing what comes next.......is like knowing what you got for Christmas......before you open you presents. You may not get what you wanted......but there is always next year.....it is what keeps us going .......it is called hope.

So, it is okay to enjoy what we got...but fun to dream of what is possible.

And I hope you get everything your heart desires......in my mind and mostly in my heart, you deserve it.

Whatever happens.....this fan will be there for the ride....bumps and all.
