Yes, that's right. In and amongst all my family turmoil and my husband's recovery from eye surgery, apparently I went to Japan and spent over $3300. It was great to feel that financial freedom and irresponsbility!
In fact, it was so great, I hardly remember being there. Oh wait...I don't even have a passport. How could I possibly go to Japan. Heck, I've barely left my house over the last month, let alone taken a plane anywhere. Ohhhhhhhhh I get it...my money went without me! Is that not the rudest thing you have ever heard? It can at least let me have the joy of spending it myself or reaping the benefits of the gift that sort of money would purchase.
Nope. I am simply one of the millions of people in the world who have been violated by credit card theft. The sad thing is, my card is in my wallet. It never leaves my wallet. It didn't even get the joy of being "swiped" through a machine to ring up that one $3324.16 charge. My poor card...it just sits in my wallet unused. Unloved. Unswiped.
So to the jerk who somehow got ahold of my credit card number, thanks for nothing! Now I have to console a piece of plastic while still playing the good mom and good wife role to my family. I suppose my little piece of plastic would feel better if I really used it. Perhaps on some Clay Aiken tickets. I know that always makes ME feel better.
Peace out y'all! And don't forget your credit cards. They have feelings too!
