I know its been a while since I have blogged. Things were pretty busy during the holidays. My children were here for the holidays. Daughter and SIL came from Tennensse and son came from Oregon. We were all able to be together for a week. It was so nice to spend time with them. We had not been togehter since last Christmas.

I'm so excited that we got airline tickets to go visit DD and SIL the end of March for a week. We have not made it out there since they moved there 2 years ago. I'm so excited to visit Memphis.

After Christmas I took them back to Portland to visit a friend before the flew back to TN. so I was able to spend another day with them. I then stayed a couple of days with a Clay fan in Oregon. Got to attend the NWClayfans Christmas party. We had a gift exchange that had to be Clay related. I matted and framed a drawing of Clay's hands that I did. I just wish I would have taken a picture of it framed, but did not. I was happy that Smitten(Shalla) got it.

Last weekend we had quite an adventure. Walla Walla was hit with a big wind storm. We had gusts of winds up to 80 miles an hour. Lots of trees uprooted, branches broken off, trees across streets, across houses, shingles flying of houses and lots of power outages. Ours was out for 36 hours, some for only a few hours and others longer. It was quite an experience. Praise God no deaths or injuries. We went thur a lot of candles. You don't realize how dependent we are on electricity till you don't have it.

It was wonderful reading Clay's blog today. I'm so glad he was able to attend Quiana's opening night in Dreamgirls. I love how supportive he is of his friends. Wish I lived closer to be able to see it. I would love to see Clay in Spamalot but again to far away, plus our trip to Memphis in March kind of took our money. As much as I love Clay my kids do come first. I will just have to save up for his next tour when he gets his new album out. Always something to look forward to when it comes to Clay.

Only 4 1/2 days till Clay's Spamalot debut. Will be hanging on to all the reports we get from those who get to attend.

I loved hearing all the reports from everyone who attended Clay’s GFI tournament. What a wonderful time had by all. What a wonderful way to help Clay and his foundation. Love all the gorgeous pictures of our man. He just gets better looking all the time. Its not just his outer look but what’s inside. His love for making a difference in children’s lives and even in our own lives. Thank you Clay so much for that you do and give. We are all lucky to have such a awesome man to follow and love, respect and honor. It’s a privilege to be a fan.
