[72] Baby, I've Been Here Before

10/12/07

First off, sorry for depriving you of my life; it's suddenly getting very busy.

This past week or so has been okay, but I know my schedule is about ready to explode. I caught up with a weeks worth of work in ICT in 2 hours on Wednesday, and just got my work handed in by the deadline. It required working to the nail. Apart from that, school has been okay. Made a few silly mistakes in Biology tests, can't remember the oestrous cycle. Media is all coursework, I plan to take a few more pictures of Dad tomorrow for that, and I need to decide on a final name.

I've been keeping okay health wise. The rest of the house have a chest infection though! I got my flu jab on Wednesday. Should have been 5 days earlier, but I had an infection and was put on Ciproxin, so I had to wait a bit, only to find out it was a possible infection and not definate at all; that doesn't cut it in my lab! So, Dad got his Flu Jab with me as he wasn't sick at the time, and he got the painless one while I got the absolute agony and boiling hot one. My arm is still hurting. Then there's my hip. A few months back I had a pain in my hip that we think was caused by the hard surface of my comode, so Mum put me on a padded one. My hip got better just over a month later. We mentioned it to my new Consultant, Guppy [can't remember his name, but he looks like an actor in a TV programme which is where the name comes from], and he said it was likely to be something in the bone. My hips aren't the best formed, I've got clicky hips and brittle bone, so it's really impossible to treat. However, I have no feeling at the back of my leg, and I'm wondering if my tights for school has caused blood flow to weaken. We're going to try socks and see.

In other news, my friend since I was 5 turns 18 tomorrow. She invited me to a party at her house last night, and I didn't think I'd be able to go. Plans have now changed, however, and I will be able to go. So, tomorrow I could well be seeing many old friends I haven't seen in years!

On Monday then, I meet with 3 MP's. Two are local, Nigel Dodds and another one whose name I don't remember. I went to school with both of their children, and was friendly with Andrew Dodds, Nigel's son. It hit me hard when he died, even though I hadn't seen him for years. Me, Andrew and Ross were the Harry Potter Trio of Fleming Fulton Special School until I moved to mainstream schooling at age 5. The other MP is Dave Anderson, whom I invited to see the Children's Hospice at the House of Lords. I look forward to seeing him again.

Tuesday is Prize Night at school. I have told two people I am getting an award, and they reckon I'm getting Personal Envadour for my extra-cirricular and work in school. Who knows what I'll get?!

Other than that, next week is stable. The following week I leave for England, and you know the rest!

Hope you all are very good. Thanks for the continued support. I thank the Lord every single day for Clay Nation -- It never ceases to amaze me.
