Melbourne report
01/09/06I'm sick today and am at home. I should be resting but I thought I'd pop in here to post my Melbourne report.
My sister (clayheaven) and I sat in row H. They were pretty good seats. We sat beside a teenager and her mom. They didn't know about the no-flash rule. I told them about it but the teenager did not heed the warning. Soon an user came by and told her off. She didn't take any other pics that night.
Right in the middle of Silver Bells, a commotion happened right in front of my sister and I. The uher saw a flash go off in the middle section of row H. He came right into the row stood by us and said in a loud whisper, "You (pointing to a lady), please bring your camera!" She didn't get up and her husband sort of made a snide remark. The usher left them with a warning. No more flashes that night! Hee Hee!
All in all, I enjoyed the concert, even with all the disruptions. I took some great pics. You will be able to view them on www.clayaikenkids.com.
I had to stop taking pics during Emmanuel and just listen to his soaring voice. I always feel like I'm in church when he sings Emmanuel. Love that voice!
Later that night, we went to the buses. They told us that Clay won't be out that night till like 3 a.m. We had to drive the next morning to go to Clearwater. So we stayed till 1 a.m. He did come out at 1:30 a.m. Bummer! Missed him! That's OK we did see him in Vancouver, Eugene and Seattle.
