The Clay Adeventure - Part 4

02/05/07

JACKSONVILLE

Clay went to Michigan and we went to Florida. We took a breather in Kissimmee and enjoyed a nice 4-day break in sunny Florida! Concert day arrived and we drove 2 hours to Jacksonville. We got to Jacksoville and was pleased that the hotel was right across from the theatre!

It was there we saw the famous Clay Taxi outside the hotel! I took a picture of it! LOL

The time for the concert arrived and we found our seats in row A, dead centre!! Only problem is...no cameras or video cameras were allowed. Bummer! I was only able to take a few pics that night. It sure was tough!

Clay was certainly better that night. He was his happy-go-lucky, snarky self again. It was at this concert that he told us the story of how his dogs got out of his room when the maid came in to clean his room. Raleigh and Durham went running down the hallway! Of course, his singing voice was fantastic! He looked so hot!

That night after the concert, all of us waited at the buses. It started to rain a little. Jerome finally came out and said to all of us "OK, Clay is going to do it!" Do what? I thought. Jerome then said, "Line up in single file!" We all got in a single line very quickly! The line was formed right around the block behind the theatre! Clay, Jerome and a TV Cameraman went to the furthest end of the line. Clay finally came to our end of the line, closest to the bus. He said "Thank you for coming! Merry Christmas!" It was so nice of Clay to greet everyone that he could! He shook my hand that night! I was on cloud 9!

Stay tuned for Charlotte.
