Clay back in North Carolina! Can't wait to see him perform in his home soil!

We drove up from Jacksonville along the Florida east coast. We got to see Daytona Beach and the Savannahs in Georgia. It was supposed to be only 6 hours, of course, factoring in lunch and pee breaks, about 7 hours. It took us 9 hours 'cos of the heavy downpour in South Carolina!! We've been in worse rainstorms 2 summers ago in Meadville, PA. We arrived safe and sound in Charlotte at about 4 p.m. Lots of time to get ready for our Clay!

We arrived outside the theatre amidst strings of twinkling lights hanging from the ceiling. It was so pretty that night!!

We found our seats - 5th row Centre! Excellent seats! Alas, we found out no cameras of any sort. OK, I admit. I did take a few.

It was great to see Clay so relaxed and at ease in his home soil. That night Jaymes joined Clay for Word of the Night.

The highlight of the evening was at the buses or sidewalk! LOL We waited outside the parking exit for the bus. It was a few minutes later that Jerome came out and said "Line up, Clay's gonna do it!" Clay finally came out with Jerome. With each stride, his hair moved. I got to shake his hand again that night and even captured it on video! Woo Hoo!!
