I am a Claymate! As soon as Clay opened his precious mouth and such a wonderful and glorious melody came pouring out from that voice, I just about died right there on the spot. I was watching AI for the first time that season and they kept showing all of these geeky, weirdos, one after another. Then Clay walked in for his audition/grilling from Simon and Randy. I was like oh here we go again another geeky guy who thinks he's all that and had all the confidence that the others showed too. So, I cringed as AI commenced this parade of no-talents. But, the second he opened that mouth in all Clays geeky glory I just about wet my pants. I could not believe such a voice would ever come out of a human ever again after seeing so many people embarrass themselves on camera. Not too mention, in the short amount it showed him sing I had never ever heard anyone thing sound so pure and without imperfection. Now, Clay is even better than he was then; who could of thought. And how could anyone not fall in love with a man that sings like an angel and has the values an angel would have as well. So, Clay won my heart from the start and makes me smile everytime I see him. He's a good, decent man that was blessed with great talent so he could bless us too!

    I have to say when Clay was on AI I was going through some rough things then as well. He was the one thing I looked forward to during the weeks in that time that made me smile inside and out! Thanks Clay! I owe him so much. I found this Clip on myspace and I am also enjoying watching AI Rewind so much, as it brings back floods of all those memories of making it through the days and weeks to hear and see such a wonderful person.
