Its been a while and people are hitting my blog (which is REALLY boring so I don't know why ?!) so I figured I would write.
I have had nothing much to say. I am concertless this summer (insert crying smiley here) and probably wont even have much cellcert time. How sad. But its all worth it to have two beautiful girls.
I always wonder why do we clean every crevice of the house when people come over. I used to make fun of my mom doing it growing up and now I do it too. I bet they don't look at half the places we clean. I know that I don't look that deeply when I go somewhere. Do you? Do you judge your friends by house their house looks? As long as its not disgusting, I don't care it it isn't close to neat.
That being said, I have a rant. Why is it when you have a new baby that EVERYONE thinks its ok to just stop by with no warning ??!!! Yes, they often come bearing gifts, but the house is a mess, I am definitely not put together and I don't feel like entertaining. Of course, I want everyone to meet my girls, but I would like to rest too.
My in-laws (who are VERY generous to us and the girls so I could never tell them that they cant come over) just stop by whenever they feel like it . Apparently they dont remember what it is like to have a newborn - nevermind two. They called last night at 9:30 to ask how the girls were!
MY parents are kind enough to say "call us whenever you can. We would love to talk to you but we aren't calling you because we don't want to wake you or the babies up" Have I told you lately how much I love them ???!!!
