Ways to kill time while waiting for The Aiken:
Spend lots of time creating fabulous pages for your website. It doesn't matter if no one visits. If you don't have a website, start one. Preferably free. Filling this up will take about a year and a half.
Blog your face off. If you don't have a blog, create one. Fill it up with pages of recipes, photos, music, banners, animations, whatever.
Learn HTML. You can use it in your blog.
Read Jemock. Laugh a lot.
Replay the entire JBT opus. Many times.
Learn a foreign language. You will have plenty of time to become fluent, n'est-ce pas?
Read Jemock. Laugh some more.
Take up a new sport. Try out for captain of your team. You will probably be the senior member of the team by the time The Aiken reappears on the public stage.
Look in your pantry for Jemock. She's probably in there talking on the phone to Clay. And it's not a cellcert.
Write a book on your fandom. You will have at least 12,000 readers, all of whom will identify with your obsession....before they put you on the shuttle.
Grow your hair. Make like Clay. You will feel closer to him. And you will be ready for the next style when he does make his re-entrance. You might have to cut your new hair quite quickly. Or make a quick visit to a hip stylist.
Read Jemock and enter a few comments below her blog...after you pick yourself up off the floor from laughing so hard.
Get out your clack and rearrange it. This should take approximately 12,550,821 hours, give or take a day or two. Throw nothing out.
Google the internet for fascinating chain letters to entertain your correspondents. 99.99% of them will be unfit for human consumption, or will give you a serious case of indigestion.
For instant relief, read jemock again. You will feel better right away.
Count the pennies you have saved up for your next set of tour tickets, You might have enough to waste a day on....or maybe not. If so, donate them to the BAF. Soon.
Watch all the AI2 clack again.....about 20,000 times. Repeat as necessary until The Aiken reappears.
Download your favourite clack and print onto t-shirt transfers. Make enough t-shirts for your entire message board. Surprise them all with your creativity. They will especially like the ones with the Woodshed on the front.
Take up beading. Make Clay Aiken bracelets for your entire message board, just in case they didn't get the point the first time around.
Read Jemock again. Keep on laughing....and keep on "keeping on".....while you are WAITING FOR THE AIKEN.
