My name is Christina, but you can call me Tina. :) I'm generally a quiet person, but after awhile i'll probably start talking alot. My apologizes in advanced! haha.
Anyway, I'm 16 years old and I live in Utica, NY. I haven't exactly been a fan since AI 2, but I have been a fan since March 8, 2008. And what a LONG year it has been. But it's been one of the most enjoyable and exciting years i've had in awhile. I wouldn't want to be anything else than to be a Clay Aiken fan. He's absolutely amazing, but of course if you're reading this you already know that much. ;-) It's pretty amazing how you don't even have to know someone, in order for them to change the way you're whole life works sometimes. Clay has changed me for the better, believe it or not. He's made ma aware of things that I honestly didnt care about before. He's taught me not to care what people think, which is big for me seeing as I used to be always worried about that. And its weird how the little things he does, makes me think differently about how I should do something. In a good way, or course. Someday my wish that i've wished so many times, will come true and that is to meet him or see him in concert. I don't care how, I don't care when I just want those two things to be a reality. I can't even fathom how much Clay means to me, and yes it's kind of ridiculous seeing as I don't even KNOW him. But it's true. He's done so much for me without even knowing it and if given the chance I would thank him as many times as I could in person.
I don't, however have some long drawn out story of how I discovered Clay a year ago. How I found him was really quite simple. Youtube. THANK YOU YOUTUBE! I came across a video of Clay singing "Unchained Melody," and he sang it beautifuly. So I decided 'what the hey, i'll youtube him for alittle while.' I thought It would be nothing, but boy was I ever wrong! What really got me hooked was when he sang "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls during the 90's Medley of the JBT (which is my favorite tour...EVER!) That song was by far one of my favorite songs ever and to hear him sing it was what really got me. From then on, i've been completely hooked and honestly, I'm not going ANYWHERE for a very long time. And did I mention I think he's gorgeous. Yeah, that was another thing. haha.
I didnt get to see Clay in Spamalot, but I can only imagine how good he was. I myself am a Monty Python fan and I was one way before I was a Clay fanatic. Brave, Brave, Brave, Brave Sir Robin! C;
But anyway, here's a little about me.I love drawing. It's always been one of my favorite things to do and I've gotten better at it over the years. And I can say Clay helped with that, believe it or not. If not for him I wouldn't have forced myself to get better so I can look at one of my drawings and say "Hey, that's Clay Aiken." Thanks Clay.
I also love to write fan-fictions. Yes, I'm addicted to Clay Aiken fan fictions. I'm currently working on a story entitled "The Letter" over at the Clay Aiken Writers Block. Check it out if you get a chance. :) I can say that Clay helped me with that too, because if not for him I wouldnt have forced myself to become a better writer so more fans would accept me as a young fan. Trust me, that's hard work sometimes! It's helped me in school too. My english grade has shot up this year. :] Thanks again, Clay!
Besides those two things, here a few more random facts about me. I'm a Sophmore in High School.[I love Clay] My favorite singer, besides Clay is David Cook. [I love Clay] My favorite band is Fall Out Boy. [I love Clay]I play flute in my High School band and I also play a little guitar on the side.[I love Clay] My birthday's March 14. [i love Clay] I have an older sister, Maria in college. [I love Clay] I'm Catholic. I'm a New York Yankee fan and I would LOVE to be friends with any Clay Aiken fan. Oh...and I love Clay. ;-)
I just had the pleasure of joining the OFC, actually on my one year anniversery of being a Clay Aiken fan. And boy, am I ever excited about this. I've meet some really great people on here, and i'm hoping to meet more. Thanks for being so nice to me! :]
