I grew up in Cary, North Carolina, and feel like I am a North Carolinian even though I now live in north central Texas. Texas is a good place, but I still have the love of N.C. in my bones, and it will always be home to me. I go back to Cary about four times a year.
My dad was a professional musician, and my mother was a music major at Meridith College in Raleigh. I've been singing in the community since I could open my mouth and speak. (I'm not professional, though.)
I love:
My husband, son, and daughter.
Music, (especially pop, and some Broadway, and some jazz) Vocal music is my first love.
Clay Aiken's beautiful voice. It adds to the joy of life to listen to that stunning voice of his. I am his devoted fan, and admire his talent, and integrity more than I can say.
Animals - Cats, (sorry Clay) Ha, dogs, squirells, racoons, almost all animals. No snakes, please. Just let them slither on off!
Trees, rain, snow. They all remind my of my childhood in Norh Carolina. My husband planted a pine tree in our back yard, among the post oaks that are native here. I can see it from my back window. I call it my 'virtual North Carolina' tree.
I like belonging to Clay's fan club; I think it's the best choice for a fan who wants to get info from and about Clay from a reliable, fun source, and not be affiliated with any of the sights that might have tacky lies on them.
Clay's new cd is so beautiful; I think it's his best ever. Both The lyrics and the music are outstanding. The voice is perfection! I could go on and on. Congrats to Çlay for OMWH.
