I am a from - the - beginning fan of Clay's. I have never been a "groupie" before but am proud to be a Claymate. I have been thinking a lot lately about my life and one of the things I am checking out is my one sided relationship with Clay. It blows my mind how up front and personal he is with his fans and how much we know about and love him when he doesn't have any idea who we are except his "wonderful fans".It has been fun watching him grow and learning things from him. He is such a good role model for us oldies as well as the young. It is never too late to get involved.
I am retired (from the stock market: couldn't get out of there fast enough) and loving retirement. Like Faye, I am a widow. I have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren. They all live in my city so I am blessed. They tease me about my "infatuation" with Clay, but it is all in good fun.
