Wow, it's been over a year since I posted.
Let's see....
what has happened Clay related for me in the past year....
During Christmas, I took my then boyfriend and now fiance (Brandon) to Clay's Christmas concert. A great concert as always. Christmas music is some of my favorite Clay music. I especially like the four song EP that came out (was that the year before last???). I would like to hear more Christmas songs recorded by Clay in the future. Is October too early to start listening to Christmas music? :)
I like songs that have a very instrumental background, which is why Proud of Your Boy has always been one of my favorite Clay songs.
Brandon and I saw Spamalot, which was fun. Glad to see they invited Clay back for more :) And yes, I would love to win the Clay Bio Contest!!!
I got engaged during a trip to NYC in July on top of Rockefeller Plaza. It was such a great moment :) Another fun thing that happened that evening was Morgan Freeman telling us congratulations and kissing me on the cheek! Yes, that really happened!
After getting engaged, I turned into a full time wedding planner with no wedding planning experience! I've been reading a lot of magazines trying to educate myself. Wedding is not until August, so pleanty of time to plan :)
As for the recent Clay news, I'm glad Clay had the opportunity to have a child of his own. I'm looking forward to being a parent in the future and hope we are able to have a healty child of our own.
Regarding the cover of people magazine, now that I've heard more details, I completely understand why he couldn't answer that question before now, and I'm not at all upset by this announcement. Anyone in his position would have done the same thing. Hope the Claymates can empathize with his point of view.
