Clay's Blog
-
I'll give this a try
02/20/07 0 CommentsBeing that I'm on myspace, I figured I would just post my blogs from there, here. So here we go...my first blog on OFC...
How is life, you ask? Life is complicated. School is getting on my last nerves! Let us make a list, shall we?
1) Music App- taught by Stanchar. Stanichar isn't a bad teacher. He's actually entertaiing. Except for the issue I had with him about the tests, he's my favorite this semester, but you know what they say, first impressions last a lifetime, and my first impression of the guy arent that great.
2) World Civ with Dr. King. Positives; He says "Clay" alot, I take it with my friend Amy, he actually takes me seriously (which is a major issue if you're a college studen't with a disability- I could write a seperate blog on that, infact I will, next time I'm pissed enough), not much hw if you keep on schedule, it's interesting...at times. Negatives- It's boring when it's not interesting. lol, Pop quizes, he walks...back...and forth....back....and forth like those hypnotizing clocks, and it puts you to sleep! 3) Dr. Arev - Religion Negative - HE CAN'T BE UNDERSTOOD! Here is a list of words I've decifered...
Queese - guiz Veeleege- vilage Seek - sick Veeroos- virouse Reever-river etc.
The blackboard never works, he's boring, I have disagreements with the religion and feel strongly about it, but maybe that's a good thing.
Next, the bitter cold weather. Brrrrrr! I have to walk - well, you know what I mean....and I about got frost bite! Thank God it's getting warmer... I hope. I kept my spirits up by not whatching the forcast, but cold is cold!
Another thing that's really bugging me is that I'm turning 20 in les than a week. 20! That's two decades! And what have a done since high school? Nothing! I live at home, I don't have a job, and I'm single. Sure, my situation is different, but the thing is that all my life I've been told that I'm no different than anyone else, but now I'm thinking that maybe I am, and I desprately don't want to be!
I am very thankful for some things in my life right now though. One would be my friend Jessica. Who would have known that meeting her at that God forsaiken day camp would be such a blessing? After so many years too! In "Learning to Sing," Clay says "When you come in contact with another life, that individual dabs a little color onto your soul." I've seen that first hand by becoming friends with Jessica. We've grown really close over the past year, and have had a few really deep conversations that I'll remember forever. The fact that she is older and has gone through the whole "becming an adult" fase, is also a blessing. I can always ask her anything. God puts people in your life for a reason. I can't help but to wonder if being friends with her will bring be any other blessings.
I've writen a flippen novel, and I haven't mentioned Clay Aiken. "gasp" Not to wory, I'm still in love with him. :) I miss him like crazy! Can't wait until he tours again. He was on Kimmel recently, and that about made my week! God, he is so beutiful!
Until, I get to see that beutiful man live again, I get to see another beautiful man. Keith Urban is coming to Omaha in July! His new album is great!
Other than that, I'm just doing my best and trying to make it in colege.
