Clay announced a contest - the Mother of All Contests. His fans are to guess the correct acronym for his new CD, and the winner gets a phone call from Clay himself. Now that really is winning the lottery!! Does that mean that Clay will then reveal the name of the CD or does that mean that we will still have to wait to find out the title of the CD? Will he then give us the winning acronym and start a new contest for us to guess the title? Too many questions. I must concentrate on acronyms. Today Clay gave us additional hints after many of us had already submitted our seven answers. But that's okay, Clay, because something tells me that you have something up your sleeve with this contest.
Hmmmmmm.......
But on to the contest. Imagine this! We have had more blogs about the 26 letters in the alphabet than we have about the release of the new CD. :-) Today we received a blog giving us further hints:
How about a hint or two ....
1) The acronym does NOT spell a known word.
2) The first letter is a vowel.
3) The last three letters are not vowels.
I think that's three hints he gave us, not one or two.

The first letter is a vowel - a,e,i,o, and u. Whoops, and let's not forget the letter y. Are we to include Y, Clay???
The last three are not vowels. Then does that mean they are consonants? :-)
As if he hasn't driven us crazy enough these past six months with his absence, he now has set out on a course to drive us further into a tizzy with guessing the CD title by following the above instructions. This man certainly knows how to stir up the Clay Nation and all over 26 letters of the alphabet. Imagine when the CD is finally released!! You know he really could make this easy on all of us and on himself by just releasing the cotton-pickin' CD.
