Getting an early start on my holiday spirit today. What a surprise to see my name as the featured memeber today. Listening to MCWL all week has really got my blood stirring for the JNT2 show. I know that there has been a lot of talk about how some are disappointed about Clay's choice to this kind of show, but we must give him his artistic wings. He is giving to us a gift, the gift of something from deep within himself, sharing himself with us in ways we have never experienced before. I have learned that Clay never disappoints, and this will be no exception. I cannot wait to share this experience with him.
Today is a beautiful day here in North Carolina. Just a crisp feel to the air, and the leaves are finally beginning to show their colorful beauty. I was talking to a friend this week who moved to CA and she said she really misses the changing of the seasons since she left. For those of you who have never visited us, if you get the chance please do. You will not regret it. Of course, since Clay is from NC we feel that this is "Mecca" and I do believe that he feels that way as well. It is such a great time to be a Clay fan. Counting down to Raleigh, cannot get here soon enough for me. I was going to remain clackless until Dec. 22 but when I heard he sang Celebrate Me Home, I folded. OH MAH GOODNESS, he was wonderful. Just one more example of how he never disappoints. I am so excited that my husband is going to the show with me. This will be his first time to see Clay perform live. I thought that this would be a good way to break him in. He is not a big fan of concerts, especially when he would see his wife drooling and sceaming like a 12 year old, but this one will be different. More subdued, more elegant. I think he will be quite surprised at our skinny little white boy from Raleigh, and how much he has grown since we first saw him. This is going to be a special treat for me to have him with me.
