  • Jericho...It's Just A Hobby....No Really!

    Clay, Clay, Clay, I think we need to have a little talk! There is a fine line between liking something and allowing it to become an obsession! At first you find yourself just enjoying this little “hobby” and then you start talking or blogging about it, you try to catch it every time it is on TV, you TiVo it so even if you are busy you don’t miss an episode, you even know the name of the evil head, of the big corporation that controls the fate of the show and you start dropping hints to your friends that maybe they should watch it as you know they would love it and when they don’t respond you start begging! When you start making copies of the episodes to give them you are at that point on the edge of drinking the Kool-Aid! Pretty soon the name of the program will show up in odd places….oh like using it for a password for pre-sales and things! Your friends will tell you it’s not healthy and you need to get a life, or maybe try another hobby, like...oh let's say ...singing!! Just understand that we are here for you if you ever need to talk about this problem. Oh you don’t see it as a problem? Well let me tell you there are about 10,000 of your closest friends who are also in denial! Hmmm! I think it's probably too late for them as well as you!
