You want to know a little about me huh? Well lets see what I can come up with.
I'm Active Duty Military, in the United States Air Force, currently working and assigned to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (Yes Clay your Alma Mattar) Been here since June 13 2005, and will be here for 5 years until I move onto my next and final assignment (where that is I have no Idea). Before being assigned to UNCC I was stationed at the Pentagon from May 2001 - June 2005, So I was there on 9/11. I won't go into details here on that day. Before the Pentagon, I was stationed at RAF Lakenheath in England from May 1998 - May 2001 and before that I was Stationed at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona from Sept 1993 - May 1998. That is pretty much a brief history of my career to date, I've done the same job in all my positions up until the one here at UNCC where I work for the AFROTC or Air Force Reserved Officer Training Corps, working to recruit college students to join the Air Force and become our future leaders as Air Force Officers.
Lets see, I'm single and looking but just haven't found that special someone yet, hopefully soon. I am 1 of 5 siblings in my family, thats where the 5 comes from in my screen name. My youngest sister has to kids a boy named Kyle and a little girl named Madison, whom I spoil rotten (thats what Uncles do isn't it?).
Besides working here at UNCC I am also taking classes to finish up my degree in Information Management for my Air Force Career, which is dealing with computers and stuff of that nature. I am also working on using my GI Bill for another degree in Special Education.
My hobbies include, Clay of course, I am a "core" member of The ClayDawgs, I love Science Fiction such as, Stargate SG-1/Atlantis, Star Trek all series, Babylon 5, Andromeda, Star Wars. I also like Action Adventure movies. Other things include, Video Games, on my Playstation 2, or X-Box, when I get frustrated with work or something on the boards I go to the video game and bust up some monsters instead of taking it out on the members of the board or co-workers. I also like to read, especially Star Wars books, and the Harry Potter Series. I'm an avid movie collector and have over 400 DVDs and its still growing of course.
I've learned a lot of hard lessons in my life, and one of them recently with the passing of my best friend.
Life is to short and could be gone in the next minute, so as Clay would say, Use your voice and make a difference and enjoy life to the fullest.
