Well, here it is, my second attempt at a blog. I understand blog is supposed to be short for weblog. Who decided that? Why blog? Why not webl? ( aka weeble) Weeble sounds much more friendly to me. Don't you think so? Now where was I? Ah, yes, my second weeble.
All my friends SWEAR to me that they tried to find my first weeble, but I fell off the "new" list and they couldn't find it. Right. It's under my name, people! N-i-c-e-g-u-r-r-r-r-l. I don't want to hear how you tried to find my name but couldn't spell it. And especially no whining about how many R's are in my name. That's the way Clay sang my name in Tell Her About It, so take it up with him the next time you see him.
Speaking of which, when ARE we going to next see him? That's a mystery. I never have been much for mysteries, really. I like to hear how mysteries are solved, but I'm much too lazy to try to solve them myself. It is fun to say "Aha!" and "Eureka!", which actually is a town in northern California, but it sounds kinda cool. On second thought, it rather sounds like your neighbor is smelly. U-reek-uhhh! Maybe I should stick with Aha?
Clay, on the other hand, seems to like mysteries. Especially with regard to his whereabouts and activities. Has he been recording his CD? Is he writing music? A book? When will we hear more about Uganda? What will he sing on tour? Should we expect some surprises? Is his milk still nicely lined up in his refrigerator? Did he toss the Tupperware? So many mysteries.
I loved Clay's weeble, didn't you? He did solve one mystery for us– he DID have a photo shoot for TV Guide. Aha! He even added that he liked it! Eureka! What I liked most about his blog is it how conversational it was, like he was talking right to me, er, us. See? He does love his fans!
