I don't blog much but I feel in the mood to do so today. I was thinking about the waiting game we are playing and how I am not doing very well waiting. I complain, I cry sometimes (who knows why) I worry about Clay and this new cd. I shouldn't, everything he has attempted has been fantastic. For instance, the JNT05. When I read about the vingettes I cringed, I thought OMG he wouldn't do that but I went trying to keep an open mind and what happened is I was deeply touched. I was enthralled by the whole production. I of course was enthralled by Clay's magnificent voice. He touches something so deep within me. I have never belonged to a fan club so this is new. I have never really been involved in any particular singer. This is a whole new experience for me. I write that I want clay to be Happy, healthy but do I really. I really want this cd so badly and I complain about it incessently. If I truly wanted Clay to be happy and forego my happiness I would just accept that the cd will come when it is ready. That is the way it is anyway but I want to really and truly be happy for Clay and for the time he is spending on it. I never in a million years thought after seeing him on AI5 that we wouldn't have heard from him by now. I was so sure we were going to hear about the drop date, a performance on tv something but nada, zilch, zero, zip. Its eerily quiet and I'm nervous. I'm confused, sad, and yes even bored waiting for this new cd. Perfection takes time and this is certainly new for me to learn patience like this. I am very eager for the tour and seeing him again live. Nothing like seeing that man sing live. Maybe I'll get another wink if I can get close enough like I did in York, Pa. 2 years ago. Wow 2 years ago can't believe its been that long ago that I got that beautiful wink. THe only concert I have ever gotten close enough to get a wink, second row dead center right behind mama faye. It was a magical evening. Who knows if the wink was for me but I choose to believe it was. Well I guess I'm done and by the way still waiting......Debbie
