Hello ClayMates and ClayDawgs Alike!
I was very lucky and thrilled to travel with my mom to see Clay in Williamsport this weekend! The show, in my opinion, was an absolute success. (And I am not just saying that because we are the same age and both are Special Ed. teachers, and like to perform.) The concert was, as usually, a well orchestrated, magical masterpiece of merry music! Does that sound to flowery? Well, too bad, cause that was exactly what is was. Clay appeared out of thin air, giving us a taste of Christmas magic we all seemed to have forgotten about, and disappeared in another breathtaking, yet heartwarming moment during his encore! Mesmerizing from the beginning to end.
Now, I know we all love to feel special when Clay talks and/or banters with us, but he truly is a true artist. I, and all of us should, am proud of how creative and charming he is. Some of you say that this concert did not meet his standards. What standards are they? Standards that other fans have placed on him? Well, I say, he has exceeded his standards with each note he sings! What this past concert is pure art! He is 29, folks, and yet he has achieved something someone in the 40’s may or may not have done. His charm is in his music. Just because he didn’t come out and speak to you, does that mean that he didn’t hold you close to his heart, or invite you into the show. He planned this concert very carefully with his team, and as fans we need to respect him for that. It doesn’t matter what the general public thinks, it is what the fans think that counts! So, fans, unite as one! Stop being spoiled and enjoy the magnificent gift Clay has given to us all ... “with love”!
Each Clay experience is special and unique. How can we dare to ask more from him? He loves us! We MUST love him in return. Now, I am not criticizing, I am just trying to make you think before you act. Take a moment. Breathe. Be happy. Clay needs that!
