  Can I start off by saying how much I love Clay Aiken?

  On Tuesday night when I should have been repacking my trunk, I was in chat with the CH. Didn't listen but I'm a Chat Ho, so I could not, not be in there with the rest of the gals. After I decided to check my e-mail ONE MORE TIME.. not that I hadn't checked a gazillion times already..and I did a double take,,, Congratulations.. OMG I opened that hummer faster than I drive.. WOO HOOOOO The e-mail time was 9:45. but I didn’t get it till about 11:30, so of course I had to tell someone besides shyhubby..and shydogs.. tryed calling QBbabe, and didn't get an answer, so I posted it on the CH. She had just read it and knew the call had to be from me, so I think she called me back right away.

  COULD NOT SLEEP at ALL. Headed for the airport in rush hour traffic. Knew I was never going to make it, then knew with my luck that my plane would probably wouldn't make it.. but it did. whew

  Arrived in Chicago ahead of time, called and here come the girls, Q, gr8, and Jody!!! We pile into Q's car after stuffing my trunk and stuff into her car and head for South Bend. So let me recap this, I live two hours from South Bend, but I flew into Chicago to drive with my friends an other two hours or was it three hours?? I'm in an Aiken Fog.. We find our hotel and then go check out the venue, very pretty place, with a very pretty marquee. Now to find some place to eat. So where do we end up.. at a Chocolate Café. I could not touch anything... so afraid... After lunch Q had wanted to tour Notre Dame, but knew I was antsy about getting to the venue on time so we headed back to the hotel and chilled.

  Then I started to get ready, which is a three hour tour. Had to look perfect, and that takes some time. We head to the venue and Q drops Gr8, Jody, and myself off. They went to the pre-party and I off to the ticket counter. I see others there and asked if this is the place and yes it was. Jerome finally comes and asks if we have our ID, so we all start showing our ID's, no, no, no, he means the one you are suppose to get at the ticket counter, well they had one for everyone but me, so acting like the 12 year old that I am, I go back to Jerome to tell him, I have the e-mail printed out and I got it late last night, at about 11:30.. so he calls Mary after trying to pronounce my name about 10 times, he finally get's it. and say's sense I don't have a sticker I have to follow the lady first.. WOO HOO I'm in I am on the meet and greet list, but due to the late night e-mail they hadn't gotten my sticker.. YAYAYYAY I'm in!!! They have my name!!!!!1!!!! Jerome takes us to this room that looks like a school room with tables and about eight chairs on each side and one chair at the top, which I figured was for Clay! Jerome started to give us rules, and lots of rules, and went on to explain that he had had 16 rules and one little old lady broke rule number 17, hadn't thought a little old lady would find a rule he should have told us about, but she did... So with that being said, he didn't explain any further.. hummm wonder what it was...I didn't do it, I promise. He could tell a couple were very nervous, and he could tell I wasn't because we were all standing and I was leaning on a table.. just lounging people, he didn't realize I might faint and I was leaning for support, thank goodness. So Jerome say's he will be back in a few minute's with Clay.. my palms were so sweaty, kept rubbing them on my pants, you just can't shake hands with wet hands ya know..

  A couple of minutes pass and we hear voices and in walks Mary, Jamie, Jerome and Clay.. omg he is tall, SOOOOOOOO GOOD LOOKING, and even with a hoodie, sweatpants, slippers, and mussed up hair. He asked each of us our names as he shook our hands, and then sat down.

  ok here is where everything gets mushy for me. talking to one girl he said he was told she was nervous and wondered why, in that very cute southern drawl.. She say's because Your "Clay Aiken". He rest assured her that he's just a guy and to breath, she was so cute. He then asked if we had questions, and when I'm nervous I talk, or clam up... I talked, so I asked the first question, about his ear piece, and now know that he loses them all the time and the molds have his ear wax on them. He's getting pretty sly with his answers, kinda like you show me yours and I'll show mine, As in Christmas Tree's. Someone asked about the fan tree, and if he got her ornament. I asked about Raleigh and why she wasn't with them, he told us she was on vacation, and will be with them later. The girl that couldn't breath asked about broccoli, and he said he would eat it if it's put in front of him. Also he is going to Mexico for Unicef and explained a bit about how he is sent where they need the most, and that is because of us! He talked all through the signing. I remember he didn't ask my name again, just took my picture and signed it... funny he used "Use Your Voice, I had given him a thank-you card, and on the inside said “Thank-you for using your voice”... we have a con-nec-tion!!!

  Then it was time for pictures and said to keep asking and talking as he can do both, what a man, a multitasked man, Mary gave us the order and I was last, she called me Cynthia, ack I must be in trouble, no one calls me that except my mother. hummm must check out my profile. So when it came to my time I stepped up and the next thing I know Clay has his arm around me and leaning in, I think I smiled, I don't know where my arm was, but Jamie clicked away anyway,,, I'm still standing... I don't remember anything else other than he is so very hansom in person and so very sweet.
