I'm a health care professional living in a small town. I'm married and most of our family lives nearby. I love life. I enjoy "changes" in my life and I am completely amazed that being a Clay fan has changed me from being way too sensible to being more carefree. And I am thrilled with the friendships that are a result of being a Clay fan!

    I only have ONE concert to shoot for. It is in Chicago. Still quite far from home, but achievable! It sold out last year! A friend was able to get me an outstanding ticket and I will never be truly satisfied with anything less!

    There will be a pre-sale for the Chicago Theater "members". At some point, the Official Fan Club will post (here) that the fan club pre-sale will take place (on very short notice, I fear). Then - regular Ticketmaster sales on October 15th.

    I have lived through the horrors of trying to get good tickets, the disappointments, the up-grading, the brokers, e-bay, getting stuck with "tickets purchased in panic" that are way too far away from the stage! Friends whose feelings are hurt because not everyone in our group "got the best seats"!

    This year we will make a plan. Like Noah's ark, we will go two by two. We will not try to get 8 "awesome" tickets all in a row! We will split into teams and try to out-smart and out-number the other buyers and sellers. And we have set "parameters" to map out which seats meet our standards.

    No "panic" purchasing! NO!

    But sometimes that panic state is so strong, that you end up with not-very-good seats and some "extra" tickets!!

    Being a Clay Aiken fan is not for sissies ! Especially at "ticket getting" time!

    But, he is sooooooo worth it!
